We the undersigned are signing this petition In hopes to reach the doctors, government and anyone else who may help us in this matter! Factor V Leiden is a very serious condition when left unknown! Many of us women go on to get pregnant and suffer complications! After the 2nd miscarriage is when Women get tested which is NOT RIGHT! Many go on to have surgeries and not know they have factor V leiden. There are many deaths, risks and many other complications associated with this like Strokes, heart attacks etc  Many of which can be prevented with the proper screening and care. WE the undersigned ask that THIS factor V Leiden test BE mandatory for anyone who enters hospital for surgery or anyone wanting children. We who suffer with this inherited condition have to carry a medic alert bracelet or some form of alert in case of emergencies! We are tired of having to inform doctors of this condition! below is some information on this matter!

Thrombophilia is a term which includes a number of genetic conditions which increase the tendency of the blood to clot, leading to sometimes serious and/or life-threatening complications depending on the location of the clot.

Treatments are available to reduce the chance of complications and/or clotting events in persons with thrombophilia, and several tests are available to diagnose various forms of thrombophilia.
